Our Program
California Baseball Academy...in the Greater Seattle Region? Yes, you read that right. The Northwest chapter was launched by our founder Todd Takayoshi in 2021. Our program will soon be considered to be one of the top teams in the great northwest as well, continuing the legacy to train, develop and support players as they grow and mature in the game. We participate in tournaments and Seattle Elite League in the regular season.
Our Director
Todd Takayoshi is currently in his second season as a hitting coach with the Oakland A's organization. His resume includes 22 years in professional player development; played collegiate baseball at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and setting multiple records in the division–highlighted by WAC Player of the Year in 1991. Todd's passion is recognizing a player's natural abilities and develop them to face the next level.
Our Facility
Our facility is located just south of South Center mall and just down the road from Ikea in Kent, WA. We take pride in our complex as we are continually developing and growing the facility to provide the best possible equipment available. \We have ample space for indoor practices during the colder months of training. Your player will not miss a beat in training as the cold, drizzly rain spits on baseball dreams. Our commitment to grow our facility for the best of our players in a top priority for us at CBA NW.
